What Osler said is so true. The worst enemy a person has is his or her indifferent self, bred of self righteousness or satisfaction. Who in the world do we so think we are that we are entitled to ignore people, those who love us and are loved by us included, without acknowledgement or even despise others without the nerves to admit our own evils? And it's so easy to step into the trap of apathy. A blunt rejection may be a manifestation of apathy, so is never sending a message (maybe flowers) to our loved ones on any special occasion due to work or whatever cause. Do not ever underestimate the power of constant 'No-Nos' in this life, but show care whenever a chance may be, for it'll be too late when we recognize how indeed few opportunities we are given to really love others. We don't always have another tomorrow, neither do people who we truly care.
